Holy crap it is cold outside! The high today is -5 degrees Fahrenheit. Which is way too cold for me. It’s also been snowing like crazy…. I am no fan of winter, but I have to admit, this is the perfect gaming weather!

I recently got FALLOUT 3! I have over 25 hours clocked on it. I’m only level 12, trying to keep up the good karma, but I am really looking forward to replaying this game and seeing just how low I can get my karma to go!
I’ve mostly focused on side quests and just exploring so I am not too far in the story. I did skip a chunk of the main story (Everything to do with the Radio Station and maybe more, not really sure…) because I wound up in Rivet City doing a side quest.
Is it just Oblivion with guns? No. So far I am enjoying this more then Oblivion. I like the battle system better and the leveling seems more evened out. I also just like the world more. Oblivion was almost too overwhelming, Fallout’s world is huge, but not quite so overwhelming. I haven’t once thought “I am never going to finish this game…” The awesome main quest story has kept me interested enough, I look forward to finding out what happens. I was never too impressed with Oblivion’s main story, but I have to admit, I didn’t give it that much of a chance.
On a side note: It’s amazing how much of a difference the voice acting makes, I never thought it even mattered much… I was wrong. I enjoy talking to the different Wastelanders and I don’t feel like I am just talking to clones. I better stop talking about Fallout or I am going to want to go play it!

I finally got my tooth checked out! A few of you know I broke my back tooth about a year ago. It has bothered me on and off, sometimes I would just leave a game in the middle of it without saying anything or I would walk away from an MSN convo cause I couldn’t think anymore because my tooth would just start killing me.
I woke up to my tooth once again kicking my ass. I figured it would go away like it usually did. I went to work, my tooth was still bothering me. It was hurting so much I was getting to the point where I wanted to crawl corner and just cry. My co-workers pointed out that my cheek/gum was really swollen. I tried using my lunch (A frozen Hot Pocket, LOL) that I was not going to eat as an ice pack to help with the pain. It would not go away.
I finally gave in and called some dentists. I had been texting JANE and she looked up a few dentists in my area…Everyone I called (I believe it was 5 or 6) was closed! What the Hell? Since when do dentists only work Mon-Thurs!? Anyway, my boss was getting concerned because of all the swelling so she tried calling her family dentist, she happened to have his cell phone number. She set up an emergency appointment.
The dentist looked at my tooth, drilled half of it off and said I had 2 options:
1. Pull it
2. Root Canal
I was in so much pain I wanted him to just pull the bastard…but I told him I would go for the root canal. Unfortunately my tooth was very very infected, down to the root (Which was causing the pain) I couldn’t get the root canal until the infection went away. He drilled off some of the most infected part of the root, I just about died, then he put me on some antibiotics to clear the infection. I didn’t get anything for pain…
It’s been a few days and finally my tooth is no longer in pain. The infection seems to have cleared up, so that is awesome. Now I need a root canal. My benefits at work start Jan. 2nd. I was all set to move to Colorado….Jan. 2nd. Once again my move date has been postponed. I suppose getting my tooth fixed while I have benefits is probably the smart thing to do…but…blah. My pre-root canal exam is set for Jan. 13th, yippie…lol.
